Concrete Sunflower Bird Bath Sculpted Basin 24.4 Inch
Concrete Sunflower Bird Bath Sculpted Basin 24.4 Inch
SUNFLOWER BIRD BATH
The Gaps Between Petals Are for Wet Feet
The basin is the flower head. Two rows of yellow petals form the rim, with the outer row curling back and down.
That scalloped edge is not only shape. A smooth stone rim is slick once it is wet, and the dips between petals give a bird something to hold. They land on the rim and settle before stepping in, and one that cannot settle leaves.
The column is the stem, deep green with veined leaves and brown stem lines running between them, flaring at the foot like roots opening out. Flower, stem and root are one plant rather than a dish with a flower painted on it.
What Makes This Bird Bath Different
- Petal gaps give grip where a smooth rim does not. Wet feet slip on a plain stone edge. The scalloped rim built from two rows of petals gives a bird somewhere to hold while it decides, and deciding on the rim is what every bird does before it steps in. Decoration and function in the same detail.
- One plant from flower to root. Head, stem and root in three colors, yellow, deep green and brown. Most sunflower baths are a round dish with a flower painted on, and they fall apart at close range.
- A 20 inch basin gives a bird room to hesitate. Wide basins hold birds longer than narrow ones, because there is space to land, look around, and move without leaving.
- Keep the water shallow. Add a shallow layer of water and keep it below the rim. Refresh it regularly.
A flower belongs among planting rather than on paving. A mixed border, a cottage garden, or a lawn edge with flowers behind it. On bare stone it reads as an object rather than as part of the garden. 24.4 inches puts the basin at a safe height, with two or three feet of open ground and cover within a short flight.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Setup and placement
Two pieces, no tools. The basin seats onto the stem under its own weight.
Set it on level solid ground so the water sits even across the petals rather than pooling to one side.
Filling it
Add a shallow layer of water and keep it below the rim.
Keeping the color bright
A soft brush and plain water every couple of weeks keeps the petals clear and the yellows reading true. Afternoon shade holds hand painted color at its best for longer.
Winter
Drain the basin before the first hard frost and leave it empty or turned over. Check the petal recesses are clear when you empty it.
3-year warranty
This product includes a 3-year warranty against cracking. Coverage, claim requirements and required documents are subject to the warranty policy that applies at the time of purchase. Keep your order confirmation and contact customer support with your order details if service is needed.
Questions Before You Choose
Is the flower painted or sculpted?
Sculpted. The petals form the rim itself, so the shape is there regardless of how the color ages. Paint follows the form rather than creating it.
Does the petal rim actually help?
Yes. Wet feet slip on smooth stone. The dips between petals give a bird somewhere to grip while it assesses, which is what it does before stepping in.
Where does it look right?
Among planting rather than on paving. Mixed borders, cottage gardens, anywhere with flowers around it.
Will birds actually use it?
The 20 inch basin with a scalloped rim covers both things a bird checks, room to land and grip to stand on. Add a shallow layer of water and keep it below the rim.
